The CCHL2 has announced that, effectively immediately, it is re-branding as the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL). There are some executive changes and internal operating changes with the re-brand, but the league retains the full slate of (former) CCHL2 teams and from a fan and player perspective little else is changing. The focus of the EOJHL remains as being the top developmental league for the CCHL and levels above. Further information about the re-brand can be found in the leagues official announcement.
